The Permanent Vacation Band is a talented group of Villagers who came together in 2023 with a shared love of great music and lively performances. What began as a driveway band has grown into a popular local act, performing at special events, local venues, throughout a 45-mile radius of The Villages.
The band’s energetic repertoire spans the late 1960s through the early 2000s, featuring classic rock, R&B and Motown and dance-floor favorites. They also mix in timeless rock ballads, giving guests a chance to relax and recharge before the next round of dancing.
With members from Florida, Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire, The Permanent Vacation Band brings together a wide range of musical backgrounds and experiences. Their setlists include favorites from The Doobie Brothers, Santana, REO Speedwagon, Sam & Dave, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, The Beatles, and many more.
